we are traveling around the sun at about 180,000 kph.  The sun is traveling around the galaxy at about 900,000 kph.  Factor in how fast the galaxy is moving around the universe and we are traveling at close to the speed of light.  None of the things ( slowed time, time stopping, etc) are happening to us.  Or do these laws only apply within galaxies or solar systems?  If we step outside are galaxy, does the milky way zip into the future? past?  If we travel in the opposite direction as we are moving, why dont we go into the past?  I mean  we are going slower than the rest of the galaxy.
